WWE Raw Results see new US champ Seth Rollins defend title against Matt Riddle

It was an all-action episode of WWE Raw episode as the new US champ Seth Rollins put his recently-won belt on the line against his nemesis Matt Riddle.

After weeks of tormenting The Miz, Dexter Lumis finally got a one-on-one bout with 'The A-Lister', while AJ Styles faced off against Dominik Mysterio.

Gallows and Anderson vs. Alpha Academy

The tag-team bout between Gallows and Anderson vs Chad Gable and Otis of Alpha Academy got off to a fast start with the latter team getting the best of the early exchanges.

In their first match back with the WWE after two years, The OC showed just why they deserved to return to the company in a spectacular performance after hitting The Magic Killer, securing the victory upon their return.

Damage CTRL vs. Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae

Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL took on the Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae in a tag team bout that saw both both teams have success throughout the match.

With the match looking like it could go either way, the constant distraction caused by Bayley earned Kai and Sky the win as Belair found herself preoccupied with 'The Role Model'.

Winners: Damage CTRL

Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler

The difference in power was noticeable between Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler as the former flexed his muscles by tossing 'The Showoff' out of the ring.

Ziggler did show signs of a momentum swing during the match and reminded people why he has been a constant player throughout his WWE tenure.

However, Corbin's sheer strength was too much for Ziggler to handle as the 6'8 man mountain won the match with the End of Days.

Winner: Baron Corbin

AJ Styles vs. Dominik Mysterio

This was a true veteran vs newbie match as AJ Styles, a 20-plus years competitor in professional wrestling showed off the experience he's accrued as he dominated Dominik Mysterio in the early stages of the match.

Dominik, who was accompanied to the ring by Judgement Day, leaned on the distraction caused by Rhea Ripley, whose presence allowed Mysterio to roll up Styles for the three-count in quite possibly his biggest ever victory.

Winner: Dominik Mysterio

The Miz Takes out Dexter Lumis

Dexter Lumis has been the bane of The Miz's life in recent weeks as the 'The A-Lister' found himself being attacked backstage, dragged away from matches and even had his home invaded.

The two were finally scheduled to pair off, however, The Miz attempted to back out of the bout by faking a knee injury, but Johnny Gargano exposed his lie and the Miz was forced to go ahead with the match.

However, for those that know The A-Lister, they know he'll have a Plan B in his back pocket and he in fact did as he attacked Lumis in the aisle with a steel chair before hitting the Skull-Crushing Finale on the chair before the match even took place.

Winner: Incomplete

Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle (U.S. Title)

Seth Rollins gained some new fans after putting his newly-won US title on the line against Matt Riddle just one week after winning it from Bobby Lashley.

'The Visionary' escaped a dangerous triangle submission from the former UFC fighter before getting embroiled in a skirmish with Elias, who was hanging out ringside.

Elias had a bigger impact on this fight than most would have predicted as he entered the ring, with Rollins shoving Riddle into him before hitting his finisher to pin 'The Bro' and retain the US title.
