US reporter labelled ‘pathetic and disrespectful’ for swipe at William and Kate

Questions were raised about 'CNN's agenda' as their London reporter was grilled when he referred to William and Kate as 'the other two royals' at a Windsor Castle walkabout.

On Saturday, the London-based international correspondent Scott McLean was commentating on William, Kate, Harry and Meghan's arrival at Windsor to greet people who assembled in honour of the Queen, who died last week.

Then his 'pathetic' comment came, as he appeared to 'disrespect' William and Kate.

“You can see Harry get out first and then you saw Meghan and then the other two royals as well,” McLean said.

“CNN’s agenda has been obvious for months. They’re in the tank for Harry and Meghan. Pathetic. The ‘other two royals’ are the future king and queen,” Daily Mail columnist Dan Wootton tweeted in response.

“The other two royals, being the heir to the throne and his wife the Princess of Wales, who will be Queen,” another critic seethed.

“Disrespectful,” another simply said.

Another added: “The other two royals” – showing your obvious bias there,” an angry viewer commented. “What happened to unbiased journalism? Shocking.”

The walkabout was the first time the couples publicly appeared together since Commonwealth Day on March 9.

In a surprising turn, the two couples even left in the same car, driven by William.

Harry and his brother have barely spoken since the Sussexes ditched their royal roles in favour of the US.

Since then the pair have been quick to slam the Firm, creating a divide between the two brothers.

Additionally, a body language expert revealed that Meghan Markle's heartfelt support at Windsor Castle wasn't just for husband Prince Harry, but for his brother William and Kate as well.

"Meghan and Harry are holding hands as usual and Meghan’s hand clasp and the touches on Harry’s back suggest she is being supportive," Judi James told the Sun.

"Her support might not just be for her husband though.

"When she turns her head in William and Kate’s direction here, and to William in particular, her facial expression suggests a display of sympathy for her brother-in-law as well as her husband."
