Unhappy dog tries everything to get cats off his favourite bed – but fails

Hilarious footage has captured an unhappy golden retriever trying his utmost to get a pair of kittens off his bed – to no avail.

Lovable goldie Bailey has become an internet sensation over recent months thanks to his gentle nature to other pets around his house in the Costa Del Sol in Spain.

A recent video shared to his dedicated YouTube channel, Funny Dog Bailey, shows the moment he discovered his favorite bed had been stolen by a two pesky kittens.

Bailey is seen running into shot at the beginning of the clip before letting out a few barks to try and get them off.

His tactic has zero effect on the felines so he then tries physically pushing them off.

Again, the smaller pets refuse to budge which leads to Bailey lying glum-faced off his bed.

In one last attempt to get his favorite spot back, he lifts up the rug but somehow the kittens still stay on it.

The adorable video has been seen more than 200,000 times since being posted last week.

And viewers were left in stitches at what they saw.

“Cats are hilarious to me,” one wrote. “They can jump, run, and leap at a minute's notice.

“But when they don't want to move, they really don't want to move.”

Another agreed, adding: “I love how they don’t budge.”

Someone else wrote: “The cats are just chilling while Bailey's debating how to get them out of the bed lol.”

Bailey is not the only goldie to have gone viral in recent weeks for his adorable antics.

Last week, a cute puppy was filmed desperately trying to befriend a park’s “alpha dog” – but with little success.

And, previously, a golden retriever’s adorable reaction to being told she was getting adopted melted the hearts of the internet.

Meanwhile, another grumpy pooch was filmed sulking on the backseat of a car after being denied her favourite drink from Starbucks.
