TikTok users terrified at apocalyptic ‘safe zone’ seen on Snapchat map of Dubai

A TikTok user has been given a glimpse into a terrifying post-apocalyptic world after discovering a group of islands that may house the countries most powerful people should world order collapse.

The islands ominously found off the coast of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates have been positioned in an eerily similar shape to the the world map.

Dozens of islands scatter the coastal area with many labelled as country or place names such as the United Kingdom, Australia and California, reports Lad Bible.

One island has even been named Island Michael Schumacher, presumably in honour of the former Formula One motor racing champion.

The real life Fox Mulder shared details of their find on TikTok using a Snapchat map to provide evidence of the dramatic discovery.

Scrolling over the map the computerised voice asks: ""I saw this on TikTok and didn't believe it but oh my god what the f***?"

The video, with added haunting music, then moves focus over to the Middle East and begins zooming in on a suspicious group of islands.

As the islands become clearer some are visibly named as places in the world such as Australia, American states and Canadian provinces.

Clearly fearful the narrator says: "Should I have seen this? What are they planning?"

The 40 second video certainly got tongues wagging as many responded by writing comments underneath the TikTok upload.

"This is crazy, I went and looked and my stomach fell upside down," said one concerned person.

Another raised the idea that the islands could be a "safe zone" for the world's most powerful should a disaster strike the earth such as zombie apocalypse.

"Would this be the 'what's left over of humanity' or could it be like a safe zone for higher powered people when the world ends? Just a couple of questions," another added.

Sadly some tried to mock the theory, with one individual writing: "If this was any sort of conspiracy then why the hell would they bloody label it in Google Maps FFS. Use some common sense."
