Stunning model shares heartbreak at being ‘brutally battered as she slept’

A stunning Colombian model claims she was brutally battered by her boyfriend as she slept.

Sonia Rodriguez, 24, from the city of Tulum, southern Mexico was left with nasty bruising to her face and limbs in the early morning assault on Friday morning.

Prior to the attack she says her boyfriend Akashi Alejandro Fukushima had become aggressive on a night out and started verbally attacking her in public.

Fukushima was then arrested for a public order offence and Rodriguez decided to go home to the house they shared.

The alleged attack, which Rodriguez says also included her being hit with a bamboo cane, took place after Fukushima was released and returned home the following day.
