Sick coronavirus porn skyrockets in popularity with hazmat suit sex

Amid the panic of a global health crisis a sick new genre of porn has skyrocketed in popularity – coronavirus porn.

The virus has infected almost 100,000 people and killed thousands, but those sobering statistics haven't cooled the flames of desire for some viewers.

There are currently 112 videos on Pornhub with the word "coronavirus" in the title.

One is named "Bodycam Footage (CDC Agent) Investigates Deserted Wuhan" is filmed from the point of view of a hazmat suit-wearing healthcare worker stumbling around an abandoned hospital.

At one point a woman wearing a hospital gown emerges and the two have sex through the man's suit.

Some videos tagged with "coronavirus" seem to be filmed by people in quarantine, bored and wanting to make money from home.

A porn duo known as Spicy x Rice, who star in some of the coronavirus videos, say they're doing it to educate people about proper hygiene practices on websites less subject to censorship.

One video shows a man explaining to a woman the purpose of wearing a mask before the two have sex, masks firmly on.

"We thought we would use our porn as an avenue to get some legitimate information out with some comic relief included to get people interested and reduce our chances of being banned," Spicy told Vice.

"This sparked the idea, knowing every current event ends up as a porn eventually, we knew people will be searching for it on less censored platforms like Pornhub."

He says the videos are not intended to be insulting to people in heavily affected areas, and that he personally knows people currently trapped in Wuhan.
