A sex robot that can memorise your personality has been hailed as a top company's most ambitious doll ever, according to a new book.

Author of new book Sex Robots and Vegan Meat, Jenny Kleeman, was introduced to Abyss Creation's flagship Harmony model.

It can move, speak and remember your personality before applying that memory to conversations.

The prototype is also stunningly realistic and costs thousands for customers to get their hands on.

And it is so advanced, Abyss consider it to be its most ambitious creation ever.

Kleeman writes: "Something truly extraordinary is being made in a room along the corridor.

"The most ambitious creation ever to be developed at Abyss is called Harmony, and she is the culmination of 20 years of Matt McMullen's work making sex toys, five years of research and development into animatronics and artificial intelligence, and hundreds of thousands of Matt's own money.

"She is a RealDoll bought to life, a RealDoll with a personality, a RealDoll that can move and speak and remember.

"And after a year of emails and phone calls, I have finally been granted permission to meet her.

"Dakota is psyched about her. 'It's definitely the biggest undertaking we've gone for', he says, wide-eyed.

"He's gone back to school to do a robotics and artificial intelligence course, learning programming in the hope that one day Matt will let him work on Harmony.

"For now, she is still a prototype, and only members of the RealBotix team get to tinker with her.

"'I'll just tell Matt you're ready for him', Dakotah says, leading me down the last long corridor of my tour."

Kleeman previously said she felt sex robots are becoming so realistic they are "redefining human existence".

And she previously Daily Star Online: "When it becomes possible to have a relationship where the only thing that matters is what one half of the partnership wants, where you can have interactions and all that matters is what you want to do and what you fancy doing, and when you become used to having relationships with something that doesn't have free will, that doesn't have independent ambitions, or in-laws, or friends you don't like, then going out and having relationships with human beings and using empathy is going to be harder work.

"I think the danger of these robots is their ability to make empathy harder work because we won't need to use it so much in our relationships with these robots.

"Human beings are complicated, a relationship with a human being involves compromise, a relationship with a robot does not involve compromise.

"And if you're used to relationships where you don't have to compromise, and you don't have to think what the other person is thinking you might, for certain kinds of people, spend a lot more time with a robot than they would with real human beings because it's more hard work to be with a human being that you have to compromise and empathise with."
