Emergency services have been scrambled after a rollercoaster at a UK theme park came off its track.
The incident happened on the park’s “family-friendly rollercoaster” the Runaway Timber Train at around 11.30am on Thursday, August 12.
Witnesses at Landmark Adventure Park in Aviemore, Scotland, say at least two cars became derailed, Daily Record reports.
They said the park was packed at the time of the horror incident and a "crash" could be heard, which immediately caused people to start "running away" from the site.
Images shared on social media of the crash appear to show a carriage hanging off the side of the track after coming loose.
They also show emergency services personnel, including ambulance and fire services, in attendance at the scene.
It is not currently known if anyone has been injured in the incident.
A witness told The Press and Journal: "The front three carriages are still on the track, but the fourth car back has left the rails and the back two are at an angle.
"The section of track is about the height of the firefighter standing beside it, but I have no idea how fast it would have been going at the time.
"There are a couple of paramedics on the scene at the moment, but I haven’t heard about any injuries."
The Daily Record reports that it is believed no body has been seriously injured in the incident, with those on board evacuated.
