Queen’s Jubilee security breach as protesters dragged away from parade by police

Two people have been detained by police after they invaded the Mall and ran into the Queen's guard ahead of the Trooping of the Colour ceremony.

The pitch invaders ran straight onto the Mall and attempted to blend into the guards marching along the road.

Moments later, Prince Charles was seen arriving at Horse Guards Parade ahead of the ceremony.

The Trooping of the Colour ceremony is the first in many events taking place this weekend to commemorate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

One of the protesters who was dragged away from the event was wearing a crown which was bent by swarming police officers.

The other disrupter was dragged away and detained away from the watching glare of the cameras who have had their sights trained on the Mall all morning.
