Princess Beatrice turns 34 today and the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has an unusual birthday coincidence that sets her apart from other members of the Royal Family.
The Queen's fifth grandchild was born on August 8 1988, at the Portland Hospital in London's West End.
Sarah, the Duchess of York, revealed the unusual details on her daughter's 32nd birthday in 2020 to her Instagram followers, alongside a throwback image of Princess Beatrice smelling a flower as a child.
The post read: "Happy Happy Birthday My Dearest Beatrice.
" 8.8.88 at 8.18pm was one of the greatest and most proud moments of my life.
"You are unique and simply one of the most special people on this planet. Your ever loving and devoted Mum."
Princess Beatrice's birth date and time of birth are not something you tend to see every day.
In 'angel numbers', which are a repetitive sequence of numbers that appear in seemingly random places to convey a spiritual message, 888 represents positivity, karma and a complete cosmic circle.
Angel number 888 can also represent a period in someone's life where they may have found balance.
Princess Beatrice's 34th birthday will mark her first birthday as a mother, following the birth of her daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi on September 18 2021.
She shares her daughter with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a property developer who she married on July 17 2020.
The couple tied the knot in a private Windsor wedding during the Covid-19 pandemic, which was attended only by their closest family and friends, including the Queen and the late Duke of Edinburgh.
On Princess Beatrice's birthday last year, her husband shared a sweet social media post in dedication to his wife.
The heartfelt post read: "Happy Birthday my love. I love you with all my heart."
