Prince William, Prince Harry and Kate Middleton were spotted chatting soon after the funeral of the grandfather, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, at St George’s Chapel.
Cars were waiting to take the Royals back to Windsor Castle – but the estranged trio instead chose to walk back to the Queen’s residence together, in full view of the cameras.
CNN Royal Commentator, Victoria Arbiter, said the decision will be a "comfort to the Queen," after the family were separated in the Chapel due to coronavirus guidelines.
Ms Arbiter said: "There were cars waiting to transport the royals back to the castle but they chose to walk as a family.
"Having been separated in the Chapel they’re now able to come together which will be a comfort to the Queen."
Eagle-eyed Royal fans also pointed out that Prince Harry walked up to Kate and William as the walk back to the castle began.
The show of solidarity after a turbulent year gave people the chance to see a moment of reconciliation for the previously close trio.
