Prince Andrew’s 60th birthday has been shunned by pals as Sarah Ferguson“scrambles” to save her ex-husband’s day, it has been claimed.
Daily Star Online recently reported how the Queen had cancelled a big party that was initially set to mark the Duke of York turning the big 6-0.
Her Majesty had reportedly scrapped the bash over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal which forced Andrew to step down, with royal commentators telling us the axe was over fears of a public backlash.
So instead a dinner has been placed at Andrew’s Royal Lodge home in Windsor which he shares with his ex-wife Sarah, Duchess of York.

But it has now emerged – just a day before his birthday dinner – that the Duke’s pals have been snubbing his dinner invitations.
A number of guests have reportedly said they are “unavailable” for tomorrow night’s festivities, and so Fergie has reportedly been trying to save the day.
Fergie’s assistant has, according to the Mail Online, been sending out more invitations to fill seats for the cocktail dress celebrations.
This would confirm that Fergie will be with Andrew for his birthday, potentially fuelling long-running claims of the pair being back together in a relationship.
Prince Andrew 'groped girls at Jeffrey Epstein's pool parties' claims top lawyer
Andrew, 59, had quit in November following a nightmare BBC Newsnight interview over his friendship with convicted paedophile Epstein.
He had faced questions over claims by Virginia Giuffre that he slept with her when she was 17 after she was trafficked by Epstein, an allegation he strongly denies.
He claimed that, on the night Virginia alleged they met at a nightclub, he was actually at a Pizza Express restaurant with his daughter Princess Beatrice.
Royal experts recently told Daily Star Online that the reported move by the Queen to cancel a big bash came as “no surprise”, saying that Andrew is in “disgrace” and a big party would spark fury.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said: “The Queen will celebrate Andrew’s birthday as she thinks appropriate.
“However I doubt there is anyone who thinks that it should be an occasion for any public celebration or for an ostentatious party.
“He is in disgrace for the foreseeable future and with his career in ruins a low profile on this milestone would only seem appropriate.”
The Queen is said to be “privately supportive” of her son, if also “deeply frustrated” with how his scandal has affected the family’s image, a source previously told The Times.

The cancelled birthday bash is the tip of the iceberg for the Royal Family following a chaotic year for the 93-year-old Queen, which commentators have branded a second Annus Horribilis.
Prince Philip was involved in a car crash at the start of last year and later fell ill before Andrew’s Epstein crisis then erupted later on.
Last month Prince Harry and Meghan Markle then made the sensational decision to quit the royals for a new life in Canada.
And in the last two weeks the Queen’s “favourite” grandson Peter Phillips and his wife Autumn have announced they are separating, as is her nephew Earl of Snowdon, David Armstrong-Jones, and his wife Serena.
