Prince Andrew ‘meets secretly’ with Queen as he plots route back into royals

Scandal-hit Prince Andrew is alleged to have been having late-night meetings with the Queen as he reportedly plots a return to public life.

The Duke of York was dragged into the scandal surrounding his former associate Jeffrey Epstein.

He is reported to have been meeting Her Majesty at Windsor Castle under the cover of darkness to plot his comeback into the Royal Family.

The latest of those took place last Tuesday according to the Sun.

Prince Andrew has denied allegations he slept with teenager Virginia Giuffre, with whom he was apparently pictured at the London home of his friend Ghislaine Maxwell.

Giuffre, now 36, has accused Maxwell of arranging for her to have sex with Andrew three times in 2001, as a 17-year-old.

Maxwell, who was Epstein's partner, is now in jail in New York awaiting her trial on charges of trafficking minors for Epstein.

Convicted sex offender Epstein was found dead in his cell in a New York prison in August last year awaiting a trial on sex trafficking charges.

The insider claimed Prince Andrew is confident he will be cleared of wrongdoing and is now arranging to re-enter public life and resume his Royal duties.

It is claimed the Duke held a Covid-secure meeting with his 94-year-old mother last week after dark.

One insider said: "This looked like a deliberate attempt not to be seen."

However, a source reportedly said: "What he wants and what the family are prepared to discuss are probably at odds."
