A man under arrest stunned police officers after choosing a unique hiding spot for his gun – up his backside.
Justin Savoie, 24, pleaded guilty Friday, September 18, to weapons charges after police in the town of Golden Meadow, Louisiana, the US, discovered the firearm.
Cops – who were arresting him late last year on a separate matter – discovered he had stashed a loaded .25 caliber Titan pistol in his buttocks.
He had been taken into custody December 28, 2019, after they responded to "suspicious activity" in a home he was occupying with a female acquaintance.
Police said they discovered Savoie possessed a handgun, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during an initial search.
Other firearms were also discovered in his truck, the New York Post reports.
After Savoie was arrested, he was taken to the police station, where he was strip-searched.
Police reportedly found the additional surprise weapon "concealed in his rear end."
The pistol is more than four inches long with a 2.5-inch barrel, the Smoking Gun reports.
Savoie was sentenced to a five-year suspended prison sentence during a district court appearance.

In an episode of Ambulance onBBC , call handler Sue was explaining the situation to the paramedics before she laughed uncontrollably.
As she hung up the phone, she said: "Romeo 6161, thanks Matt."
Sue then turned to her colleague to brief them on the situation, giggling: "It’s a 20-year-old male with a cucumber in his … in his rectum."
