Hundreds of vehicles were involved in a massive pile-up on a bridge in China that has led to several people being rushed to hospital.
The accident was seemingly caused by icy road conditions and heavy fog at around 10am today (December 28) in Henan, China, as dashcam footage from the scene suggested poor road visibility.
The rescue efforts has continued throughout the morning in the fog on Zhengxin Huanghe Bridge as footage has shown vehicles on top on other drivers' roofs following the mass collision.

According to reports, more than a whopping 200 vehicles may have been involved in the crash, including larger lorries.
Numerous photos taken at the bridge has shown several wrecked cars with some piled on top of one another as well as passengers from other vehicles attempting to catch the attention of oncoming vehicles to warn them about the accident.
The total amount of vehicles involved in the crash as well as the number of individuals injured has yet to be confirmed but state media in China has confirmed the number of emergency services responding to the scene.
In what is a large-scale operation to get drivers out safely, media has reported that 13 fire engines and 70 fire rescue personnel has so far been deployed to the scene.
As of 9:30am local time, 11 people had been safely rescued from their vehicles as the safety operation continues on.
While there are no confirmed casualties in the mass pile-up, a car accident in Florida two weeks ago caused the death of a 21-year-old TikTok star.
Ali Dulin, a Hooters waitress who had 1million TikTok followers, was tragically killed in a car crash which left her friend Ariane Avandi "heartbroken".
She posted a tribute to her friend: "Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel right now…Ali you are one of the most vibrant, beautiful inside & out, genuine, loving souls I’ve had the privilege of knowing.
"You are an amazing friend and incredibly talented and passionate woman. I will never forget the impact you made on my life and everyone’s for just being YOU!!"
