Pedestrian hit, killed in Broomfield Easter Sunday evening – The Denver Post

A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle Sunday evening.

The Broomfield Police Department received a call at 8:33 p.m. about a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle on the East Interstate 25 Frontage Road about 0.6 miles north of Colo. 7.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, Sgt. Todd Dahlbach said.

The police department’s Accident Reconstruction Team responded to conduct the investigation, which is ongoing. No charges have been filed at this time, Dahlbach said.

The investigation closed East I-25 Frontage Road in both directions along with the far right lane of northbound I-25 just north of Colo. 7 for more than three hours.

The name of the pedestrian will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
