Man Utd glamour model pokes fun at Man City ahead of crunch Premier League clash

A glamour model famed for her unwavering support for Manchester United took a cheeky swipe at rivals Manchester City ahead of their derby clash today.

Katrina Maria is well-known in the stands of Old Trafford for her support for the Red Devils after wearing their jerseys for much of her modelling career.

Before and after games she regularly shares United-themed posts with her Instagram following now standing at over 70,000.

Before today's Premier League clash, she asked followers: "Is Manchester blue or red?"

But in a different post, she answered "Manchester is red" with capital letters along with a string of snaps posing with the club's badge.

Last year, Katrina released a calendar featuring a range of snaps including some of her in United tops.

Ahead of the release, she told Daily Star Online: "Yes it was (by popular demand), not specifically a calendar, but my fans really wanted something they could buy and have in a physical form.

"So I decided that maybe a calendar was a good idea, but I'm definitely going to do more products in 2020, I would like to do T-shirts and posters, stuff like that, because my followers really want it."

Commenting on her hopes for next year, she said she has set her sights on the club finishing in the top four and qualifying for the Champions League.

She continued: "I'm always expecting a lot, and I think we are going to buy some new players in January, I'm hoping because we do need some.

"I'm expecting us to play our best and end in the top four by the end of the season."

Weeks later, she revealed it had gone down a treat and that sales had been "really good".

She also revealed her best moments from last season, continuing: "I have two moments, the win against Manchester City and the win against Chelsea.

"The Chelsea one I loved it, it really meant a lot, that's probably my favourite moment.

"The worst is probably that we have not been steady and consistent, we have had games where we played really good, and others s***.

"We have lost some games against teams that we should have won."
