A man has died following a Boxing Day stabbing at a nightclub in Birmingham.
Police were called to the scene on Adderley Street in Digbeth just before 11.45pm after reports of a stabbing at The Crane nightclub.
Sadly, a 23-year-old male victim was pronounced dead around 30 minutes after the police were contacted, despite their best efforts to save him.

West Midlands Police have confirmed that a murder investigation is underway.
Police have spoken to a number of people who were in attendance at The Crane but have urged others to come forward.
They are also looking for footage of what happened and are viewing CCTV from the nightclub as they attempt to identify those involved in the attack.
Police believe that the victim – who was in the nightclub with his friends – was approached by a group of people on the dancefloor and then attacked.
Detective Inspector Michelle Thurgood, who is leading the investigation, said: “This was a young man enjoying himself with friends on a Boxing Day night out and our thoughts are with his friends and family today.
“We know there were hundreds of people in the nightclub at the time. While we’ve spoken to a number of them already, we still need to hear from anyone who was there and who witnessed or even filmed what happened.
“We believe that the victim was approached by a group of people, and was then stabbed, so we’re working hard to identify all of those involved.”
