King Charles III is said to believe reuniting Meghan Markle and Prince Harry with the Royal Family is possible and has "hope" for the future.
The newly-ascended King is said to have spent time with the Sussexes during the grieving period for the Queen.
King Charles III appears determined to heal the rift between the family and Prince Harry, with sources indicating the King is happy with a series of conversations he, Harry and Meghan had while the Sussexes were in the UK.

While it is not known how much time the trio spent together, one source believes that there were "tremendous flickers of hope" for their relationship.
A royal insider speaking to The Telegraph said: "It remains the case that the King loves both of his children.
"Over the last 16 days or so, there were tremendous flickers of hope. In terms of the future, there is hope of a cause for unity."
Although there may be some "hope" at the moment for King Charles III and his relationship with the Duke of Sussex, it all likely hinges on the release of Harry's bombshell autobiography.
Despite the book being pushed back to make room for the mourning period with the Queen, Harry is said to want major changes on his book.
The potential changes were reported by Daily Star, with one expert believing the book "might not look so good" in light of The Queen's death.

A panicked Prince Harry is said to want changes made to his autobiography, in case the material is damaging to members of the Royal Family including his father, King Charles III.
Harry is said to have "thrown a spanner in the works" with the sudden urge to edit his autobiography.
A separate source indicated the Prince is hoping to "get it refined" in light of the Queen's death and the ascension of his father to the throne of England.
That same source believes it "might be too late" to make the apparently crucial changes.
