At least 22 people, including women and children, have been viciously killed in a brutal massacre in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The military says 13 of the victims were tied up and beheaded by the terrorists, who are reportedly violent militants from the Allied Democratic Forces, a militia linked to Islamic State (ISIS).
Bodies are still now being recovered from the surrounding jungle after the armed militants mercilessly attacked villagers in Kisima-Vutotolia near the town of Beni on Tuesday evening.
Among the victims are two children, aged just four and two months old, who were reportedly murdered alongside their parents.
