Glam influencer’s dream holiday becomes nightmare after using scam cash machine

A glam influencer has shared her nightmare ordeal after her dream vacation was put to a halt when she fell victim to cruel scammers.

Australian Bella Varelis was left devastated after she was unable to splurge her money at a Dior store in Italy after she used a dodgy ATM.

The 27-year-old said the cash machine stole her holiday money during her romantic getaway with her boyfriend Will Stokoe.

She told her 110,000 followers that she had been saving up so she could make a luxury purchase while travelling through Europe with Will.

But luckily, the influencer phoned her dad to help save the day and revealed that he had sent over some emergency funds.

Bella shared that her father's help meant she was still about to treat herself and later posted photos of herself trying on designer items, reports Daily Mail

Speaking about the ordeal on Instagram earlier this week, she said: "I saved up so much before I left so I could spoil myself with something special on the trip, and then I got scammed by an ATM the other day and ended up feeling pretty disheartened.

"But dad ended up coming to the rescue so I decided to still spoil myself! And today is the day."

Last month, the former Bachelor star shared the reason she had needed to step away from social media in recent weeks.

She responded to a fan during a Q and A and said: "Honestly, I've been dealing with a lot of inner demons and I hit a really low point in the last couple of weeks.

"There's a lot of what I've been through I will keep to myself, but basically moving house for me was a huge positive change for me mentally, and I don't even recognise the person I was at my last place and it all caught up to me."

She added: "I have been the saddest I've ever felt in my life, but sometimes it takes you hitting rock bottom in order for you to work your way back up."
