Four schoolchildren rushed to hospital after illegal drug overdose in park

Reports say four schoolchildren are in hospital after taking illegal drugs in a park in Merseyside.

All four were rushed to Alder Hey Children's Hospital following the suspected overdose at Calderstone's Park.

Merseyside Police have issued a statement after the incident and say they are now working with the families of each of the children.

A boy and a 15-year-old girl are still in hospital for treatment.

Earlier, two boys were released from hospital.
