Flash flooding hit parts of Larimer County Sunday afternoon, and officials warned residents near Glen Haven to move to higher ground.
The areas around Steamside Drive and Fishermans Lane just north of Glen Haven were in the most danger, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.
“Immediately reach higher ground by any means necessary,” the Larimer County Sheriff’s office warned in an emergency alert.
A broader flash flood warning for the region includes Glen Haven, Estes Park and Drake and is set to expire at 4:45 p.m.
