Denver will experience a run of above-average temperatures in the coming days, including a very mild weekend.
According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will reach 72 degrees under sunny skies on Friday. Downtown winds could reach 16 mph, while some slopes could see gusts up to 55 mph Friday morning. Temperatures will dip to 37 degrees on Friday evening. The high will be 15 degrees above the average. The record for Nov. 5 is 77 degrees, set last year.
Saturday temperatures will again be way above average, with a forecasted high of a sunny 73 degrees and a low of 40 degrees.
Sunday will be nearly the same as Saturday. Daylight saving time will end on Sunday.
The NWS warns that dry and unseasonably warm temperatures over the weekend will elevate fire danger, mainly over the Palmer Divide in the afternoon.
