Denver police issue Amber Alert for missing infant

Denver police have issued an Amber Alert for a missing infant and is asking for the public’s help in locating the child who was last seen with their father.

The alert seeks information on the whereabouts of Anwar Rhodes, 39, and an infant, who were last seen about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in a 2006 grey 4-door Audi sedan with duct tape affixed to the front bumper, police said. Police said Rhodes allegedly assaulted the child’s mother.

The infant is 11-month-old Riott Garner. Police describe the child as a white male, about 25 pounds and 18 inches tall. Rhodes is described as a Black man, about 6′ tall and 180 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The Audi A4 has a Colorado license plate ALWH70, police said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Rhodes, the infant or the vehicle, is asked to call 911.
