Dad and daughter, 15, go missing as desperate police hunt launched to find them

A dad and his teenage daughter have gone missing as police launch a desperate search to find the pair.

Paul Brown, 34, and Michaela Gumbs, 15, were last seen at their address in Hinckley, Leicestershire, at around 4am on Wednesday, September 29.

Leicestershire Police say the pair have not made contact with their family since and they are now concerned for their welfare.

The authorities believe the dad and daughter are still together, LeicestershireLive reports.

Paul is 6ft 2ins tall and of a slim build and was last seen wearing a green Hugo Boss tracksuit and grey Nike Air Max trainers.

He is known to drive a blue Volkswagen Golf with red alloy wheels.

His daughter Michaela is 5ft 5ins tall and also of a slim build. She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, grey jogging bottoms and an orange scarf, as well as carrying a black handbag.

Police are asking anyone who has seen Paul or Michaela, or knows where they might be, to call 101 and quote incident 133 of September 29.

A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: "Officers are appealing for public help to find a father and daughter missing from their Hinckley home.

"Paul Brown, 34, and 15-year-old Michaela Gumbs were last seen at their address at around 4am yesterday (Wednesday 29 September).

"They have not made contact with their family since and police are concerned for their welfare. It is believed that they are still together.

"Anyone who has seen Paul and Michaela, or knows of there whereabouts, is asked to call 101, quoting incident 133 of 29 September."
