A shopping centre in London has been evacuated following reports of a stabbing.

Footage of Brent Cross Shopping Centre in Hendon, north London, being evacuated has been widely shared on social media.

People took to social media to share their panic following the incident.

One person tweeted: "There's been a stabbing at Brent Cross Shopping Centre."

Someone else said: "A person got stabbed at @brentcross_sc on around the @riverisland store at the 2nd floor.

"Police have closed all stores and evacuated the floor.

"Apparently the incident happened in the @Apple store @brentcross_sc."
