A teenage boy is in hospital after being stabbed and having 'acid' thrown in his face in a horrifying broad daylight attack.
The 16-year-old was targeted in Hackney, east London, jus around 3pm on Saturday afternoon.
When the emergency services arrived, they found the teenage boy suffering with stab injuries and facial injuries believed to have been caused by a noxious substance.
London Ambulance Service paramedics took the teenager to a hospital in east London, where he remains in a stable condition.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said the boy's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
There have been no arrests so far in the investigation according to a police statement but a crime scene remains in place on Rushmore Road.
