One person has died after a gunman opened fire at a Thailand shopping centre before fleeing.
The shooting took place at a dental clinic inside Century Movie Plaza in Bangkok in the afternoon.
One person was killed and another was injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.
Graphic pictures showed a woman – believed to be the deceased – in a pool of blood being given CPR.

Initial reports suggested the shooter was known to the deceased and was the female victim's ex-husband.
It was claimed the man was jealous which drove him to shooting his ex-wife dead.
The gunman escaped from the mall before police arrived and was still on the run.
Police said they knew the identity of the killer and were working to track him down.

The shooting took place at 3pm in the centre of the Thai capital, near to the city's well-known Victory monument.
It came 10 days after a soldier went on a shooting rampage in Korat, north eastern Thailand.
Jakraphanth Thomma shot 26 people dead in the bloody massacre on Saturday, February 8.
He killed his commanding officer before stealing weapons from a military camp and then driving to the Terminal 21 shopping mall.

At the shopping centre he shot multiple victims before holding shoppers hostage in a siege which lasted through the night.
The gunman, who live streamed his sickening attack on Facebook, was eventually shot dead at 9am the next morning by police.
