An Amazon delivery box turned out to be a cake, sending social media users into meltdown.
The incredibly realistic-looking parcel was pictured with an Amazon Prime label wrapped around it, but all was not as it seemed.
Photos show the chocolate cake cut open with a slice separated from the rest of the parcel, with the amusing images going viral on Twitter.
Several months ago a bizarre trend of creating lifelike cakes swept across the internet.
Pastry chefs, artisan bakers and even novices flooded social media with images of realistic looking cakes.
One baker made a cake that looked like a burger, another a beer bottle and there was even a cake that looked exactly like a picnic.
Now, the trend seems to have returned after a man lying in a hospital bed turned out to be a cake earlier this week
The man can be seen smiling at the camera from his bed. He appears to be in good spirits as medics work around him, but on closer inspection, he turns out to be a lifelike cake with bits of his legs and one of his arms cut up.
Now the images of the Amazon parcel have sent the internet wild once again, with one person pleading: "Please no, not again, please no more, no more cake."
Another commented: "Haven't we been through enough already."
One more joked: "Imagine putting this outside someone's door the day one of their packages were supposed to arrive."
A fourth agreed, writing: "Imagine opening your front door to think u picking up a package you been expecting and it just turns into mush in your hands. I'd be triggered."
